Draw Steel Saving Throws
Resolve Draw Steel saving throws and save-ends effects at the end of a turn, track multiple effects clearly, and check hero-token interactions at the right time.
When is a saving throw rolled?
When an effect says save ends, the affected creature makes the saving throw during the end-of-turn timing specified by the current rules. A success ends that effect immediately.
Does every condition allow a saving throw?
No. Roll only when the effect says save ends or another feature grants a save. Some conditions have a fixed duration or a special removal method instead.
End-of-Turn Order
Keep each save-ends effect tied to its source so success removes the correct marker.
- Finish the creature's actions and movement.
- Resolve effects that occur at the end of the turn.
- Identify every active effect that says save ends.
- Make and record each required saving throw using the current rule.
- Remove successful effects and retain failed effects.
Avoid Missed Saves
Write the duration beside the condition rather than marking only its name. For several effects, use separate markers or a short list with the source, save timing, and any special success or failure text.
